I had no idea that my choir retreat in Montreat, North Carolina, would be so affirming for my children’s books!

The Montreat Conference Center store graciously decided to carry my books while I was there on retreat. It was such a gift to see my words find a place on their shelves, right in the heart of a community that has long been special to me. Knowing that conference guests might discover it there, perhaps in a quiet moment of browsing between sessions (looking for that perfect gift to bring back home!), was both humbling and deeply encouraging. I’m grateful for their support and hospitality, and for the way Montreat continues to create space where voices, stories, and faith can be shared.
